My three favorite memories;

- Combo here, when I was in pre-searing, I thought I could explore more, but I got stuck on walls. Eventually, I left, and thought I could go to the whole world. I really had no clue about how instances work, and how the outposts were all put together. I thought I could take a friend, and some henchmen, and go over and explore the other sides of the mountains.

- When my friend and I spent ages upon ages trying to beat Aurora glade and finally gave up.

- When my buddy and I were noobs and we made ourselves a guild called the 'Super Sunny Sllowpokes [SSS]', yes with two l's. Good times. Our cape had a turtle, bright and colorful.

I remember Vanquishing Snake Dance and Dreadnaughts.. today.

I remember how flawlessly my group of pretty Merc heroes worked..how fun wreaking my petty revenge upon the areas was.

I remember how utter suck it was with just hench or the usual pugs..

I have no rose colored glasses looking at the past. For me the "good old days" are now.

Yep. Last time I even attempted it was years ago.

I just run from the AG outpost to Denravi now.
Much easier.

Not as easy as running straight to Sanctum Cay, but at least no one can say I just skip the jungle.

I remember the good old days when the totem axe first came out. Not many people knew about it. My friend happened to find someone who figured out the farm nearly minutes after it came out. He was buying them for 50k and turning them over for 50k profit. It was just nuts! I also remember having no 15k armor and being all impressed whenever someone had obby. Now... meh everyone has it! Haha.

I remember the addition of the skeletons in UW. I really enjoyed myself that day in ToA aed, just listening to all the sins going WTH! in chat.

The first time I got picked by the mad king and winning with /paper.

Trying to run through the final mob (with 60% dp) and actually touching Althea's ashes a split second before death.

Having M.O.X. as my first hero and thinking he was really awesome

This one right here. And oh how I raged when they nerfed the number of minions, gave up on my necro after that.

Things that first come to mind (some personal nostalgia too):

Getting to Piken Square for the first time <3 (thought I had gotten really far);

People selling Althea's ashes;

Thunderhead Keep;

Unlimited minions;

Monk strike;

Thinking 1.5k platemail armor was amazing;

Taking hours to run ToPK;

Desert Griffon farming;

EDIT: Mending Wammo

I remember when i had to take the right build and right henchs to complete a NM mission or even quest
I remember when green items were worth a lot ( victo bulwark , rago flame staff ,drago flatbow , etc....)
I remember when the only hard areas to vanquish were hard ( a.k.a lornar pass or eastern frontier, which are quite a joke today ; thanks consets especially and 7h)
I remember when people weren't complaining after completing UW NM in 2 hours

About nostalgia , when prophecies areas were active ... i swear they added some stuff to do around amnoun oasis , piken square , yak descent , etc....( today , it's really all about LA or Kamadan , even kaineng is quite dead....)

I remember when people used to rage/troll at my Monk for standing "afk" in a mission outpost while I ate, watched a show I liked on TV, etc...and did not accept their random group invites.

Or Ettin farming on my War, hoping to get an 80k Sup Absorb Rune.

When I had to choose armor I didn't really want, or had to make ugly combos, in order to get the benefits of the armor ("Bloodstained Boots" for the Necro).

Unlocking Koss and setting up his skills for the very first time.

Seeing my first green drop.

Ah, memories.

*Doing my first FoW and having to switch from US to Euro to do it (stupid favor thing back in the day)
*Getting favor only when some one won HoH
*When Obi armor was OMG status.
*When Factions had recently come out and Assassins would try and tank using daggers.
*Getting my first ecto by obi-flesh farming UW
*when JQ was empty all the time, and than when they fixed it and I met my old guild leader there after a year of no contact. Re-joined that guild and been there ever since

remember when you couldnt flag henchman and also the AI was worse. Thus when your heading through the shiverpeaks and during a party wipe your only remaining henchman would run back and forth getitng confused....you would have to restart.
Anyone remember when PING BUILD didnt exist..however in its place you typed the skill names out. Some people would even lie about their skills too. I do recall having banish on my heal monk during Hell's precipice and saying i was using it because i could afford 5 energy.

Before templates, having a Word document with pages and pages of builds that I had to open every time I wanted to run a different build.
